This is my first Millie Perez book, but it won't be my last! I really enjoyed this book, and it features one of my favorite tropes: nany/single dad romance. Combine that with a baseball player MMC and you have the recipe for a perfect book. If you're a fan of Caught Up by Liz Tomforde, then this is the book for you! Mateo and Isabella have instant chemistry and the tension is so delicious. I loved how they cared for each other, particularly how Mateo took care of Isabella after everything she went through with her ex. Anna was the cutest little girl! Mateo was DEVOTED to his little girl and we love a good daddy. I also really loved how the author weaved in the culture in this book; Mateo is Puerto Rican and Isabella is Dominican and they are very promiment throughout this book. There so many funny moments, the banter was perfect, the tension and inevitable getting together was so hot while also tender and sweet, and the entire book was so good. I'm really looking forward to Nick and Luisa's book! I'm also hoping for... Daisy and Ace maybe? Am I on the right track? We shall see... Or coach and Daisy? I NEED IT ALL NOW!
