3.5 but I am rounding up to 4. As I was reading this book it made me think back to how much my thinking has shifted about history and the stories that get written and passed on. Words are quite similar. Some parts of the story were quite rushed and seemed flat, but the work behind creating the OED and the historical storylines of the suffrage movement and WWI were powerful.
