I Have Some Questions for You
by Rebecca Makkai
I want to thank the publisher and the @Mysterybookclub (instagram) for a copy of this book.
Holy moly. This 100000000% dragged on. Like if it was not for MBC, I probably would have DNFed it. This was Notes of Your Sudden Disappearance plus 100 pages. And by the end, I was decently unsatisfied. Deep down this is exactly how the justice system works, I know that from other stories and non-fiction articles. But it still just felt like there was zero closure in this book.
I settled on 2.5 stars because I am truly unsure how I felt. The writing style was definitely not my fav. The chapter setups were awkward and the flashbacks were confusing.
