I have been waiting for Kane and Jana’s story since getting little hints about them, especially after the end of the previous book. Their story did not disappoint and was unexpected in a good way.

Kane played for the Fury, but retired to take over as head coach of the team. Jana has worked with the Fury for a while and her father, the team owner, has prepared her for taking over and that time is now. They are both in new roles and have to navigate their careers, but also the attraction they have towards each other.

Kane and Jana have chemistry. I loved their interactions and the attraction between them. They were strictly friends with benefits. I love that Kane was the one that wanted more when it came to their relationship, but he also had his own hang ups when it came to certain things with how his childhood was.

I am sad this series is over, but I am super excited to get to know about Kane’s younger brother, Lee!
