Hard to Fight by Bella Jewel
4.0

ARC received from St Martin's Press via Netgalley for an honest review

It has been quite a while since I have read a Bella Jewel book, but after reading Hard to Fight, I remember why I loved her work.

I liked the premise of Hard to Fight, the kind of role reversal going on.

Grace is not your typical girly girl - woohoo! - and I love how she takes on her job as a bounty hunter. I thought that she rocked. Loved that she was realistic about her capabilities of her job too, not going all hell for leather into the cases.

Raide is her "job", and she gets right into that job! Can't blame the girl either, I am sure I would have crossed that line if I had the chance!

Raide is not all what he seems. He looks and seems like the big bad guy, but the more we get to know him, the more we see the softer side of him.

There is a twist in Raide's tale and I loved the way it played out in the end. Although how it played out and came to be left me a bit "huh?"

There are some secondary characters that I would love to know more about. Raide's friend Benny, and Grace's friend Vance need their stories to be told!

All in all, this was a quick, fun, enjoyable read, and I look forward to more of the Alpha's Heart series in the future.
