An Evil Mind
by Chris Carter
Chris Carter worked as a criminal psychologist before he started writing thrillers. It is very apparent that he knows his stuff as he writes about one of the most sadistic, psychotic and brilliant serial killers I have ever read about. LA Homicide detective Robert Hunter is called in by the FBI to help them interview a man they have in custody because the car he was driving was in a minor accident and when police arrived they just happened to find two severed heads in the trunk. He also happens to be Robert’s old college roommate and one time best friend whom he hasn’t seen in 30 years. Robert thinks he is going to prove to the FBI that his friend is telling the truth and he knew nothing about what was in the trunk but he soon finds himself in a cat and mouse game with a serial killer who has been operating for over 25 years under the radar of the FBI or anyone else. As the story unfolds, we have a glimpse of pure evil as seen through the eyes and mind of the killer.
