I thought for sure this would be a five star read, but alas it's four. I absolutely adored the last third of the book! The characters were fantastic! I laughed, cried, swooned, and was blown away by the end. The big con for me was the unnecessary length. Don't get me wrong I love big books and I cannot lie. This one though could easily have been about four hundred pages less. It felt long and drawn out and took more than half way to get really good. Also, the world was confusing and after being immersed in the world for almost a thousand pages I'm still not completely clear on some aspects. Based on the way this one ended I feel like the sequel is going to be kick ass though!
