This is pitched as Westworld meets The Handmaid's Tale and honestly, that's such a good description for this book. After her sister accidentally kills a man, Aster and a group of Good Luck Girls are now on the run, to find the only thing that will allow them to finally be free. If they can get there in one piece.

Aster and the rest of the characters are so driven to reach their goal, and there's a lot of action in this book. Westerns aren't very popular in YA, so this book is definitely a breath of fresh air. A diverse cast of characters fighting for a cause we can all get behind. And there's no romance! A rarity for YA fantasy, but I loved it all the more.

While there were some points that were a bit predictable, the characters and the world building definitely make up for it. I'm interested in learning more about this world, so I hope there's more to come!
