Wow, where do I start with this. First off, Daemon is freakin' HOT! But OMGosh is he a jerk. He's hot, he's cold. He's turned on, he's not. He's likable, he's angry. UGH! He just tosses Katy around like a wet rag. And yet, she takes it. This kind of pisses me off. She does have a lot of witty come backs and such, but because she is also attracted to him, it totally skews how she reacts in so many situations.
I like the alien theme in this book. It's definitely developed well. You know there's something off, but had you not read about the book before, you wouldn't know exactly what it is until the truck scene happens.
The scene in her house when he is telling her they must get rid of her trace is INTENSE. But again, it pissed me off because he just up and leaves, argh!
I would love to see more development of the others characters: Andrew, Ash, Adam.
All in all I liked this book well enough. Not top on my paranormal list, but I will definitely read the next one.
Oh, and there was a little tease of the [bc:Shadows|13183957|Shadows (Lux, #0.5)|Jennifer L. Armentrout|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1328414465s/13183957.jpg|18364495] at the end of the book. So I will be getting that one next. I like that it's from Daemon and Dawson's point of view. It definitely shows where Daemon is coming from.
