I'm Glad My Mom Died

[Read in audiobook format] This was a deeply powerful story. I'm not sure why it's sold as being "funny" when the tone is real and serious.
McCurdy tells her story quite factually, which is refreshing to see, since there doesn't seem to be any bias. She sees her life as it was and sees the journey of getting there. There are some funny moments though.
I appreciate McCurdy's writing style and her descriptions, yet something felt off in the shorntness of the chapters, maybe could have used more detail in certain areas? I don't know.
Otherwise, it was a good listen and great to ehr her powerful story of reclamation and growth.
