I loved the previous book in the series and I loved this one as well. It feels a bit surreal to read it in these times when the royal family is so much on the spotlight. But I enjoyed every second of it. I can only imagine the reality of being the security of a royal family member let alone one so famous as Diana was.
The author is well known for his ability to woven real facts with fiction and take you on a ride. The characters are so well drawn and feel like someone that I actually know and interact at times in real life. There’s a lot going on in here. Some predictable turns but many unexpected twists as well, especially midway through the story.
What amazed me was Beth, Warwick’s wife. She plays a big part in the story.
It was interesting to just imagine them all in 1988 and the investigation process. I guess many of those tactics still applies nowadays.
Action packed, thrilling and exciting new story from a now favourite thrillers author.
