melannrosenthal 's review for:
A perfect companion for a young* writer.
*As McCann mentions, young is in relation to the aspirations of writing, not in years of age.
Not since [a:Anne Lamott|7113|Anne Lamott|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1489601640p2/7113.jpg] have I so enjoyed the advice from an author. The best part about this little book of "letters" is how easy it is to gobble up the bite-size sections, and how utterly relatable it is to struggles we face in trying to figure out how to stay on track, to keep reading for pleasure and research, and how to not kick ourselves when we're low, to know when to move on, when to push forward- and above all else to KEEP. WRITING.
