At the heart of the story is Little Ethan, who survives a plane crash and is taken in by his godparents, while his parents watch from another plane. The author skillfully examines the complex interplay between grief and love, as seen through the eyes of a mother grappling with the loss of her son. The themes of addiction and suspense are expertly woven throughout the narrative, making for a compelling read from start to finish. I highly recommend this book
