Some of the details in this book are just so unnecessary. I felt like it went on and on about the scenery and landscapes when that wasn't an important part of the book. I would have loved a more intimate look into the characters personal relationships with others and less of the internal dialogue. The overall story premise was good, I just didn't enjoy the writing style which made it hard to get through.
