13 Monsters Who Should Be Avoided by Kevin Shortsleeve
5.0

This book is long, but worth the wait. It is in part Seuss and Silverstein. It is not quite individual poems though it could be read as such. Instead it is set up as a class on the monsters to avoid. Its a tongue twisting good time. The rhymes flow easily. One of the monsters is a bit dated, but for the most part that does not matter. And the artwork?! Masterful. The use of color is amazing, and the illustrations are spooky and fun without being scary.
