Absolutely perfect.
I really wish it was possible to give more than 5 stars.
This second book in the Death Row Chronicles is, once again a superbly written, original book with all the feels and I couldn’t put it down.
The complexity of the two main characters, Bishop and Anson, is developed even further as they adjust to a life together that doesn’t involve them being on opposite sides of a cell door.
I was feeling every bit of Bishop’s constant state of panic, anxiety and his overwhelming struggle to adjust to a life almost beyond his comprehension.
There’s drama that seems to unfairly follow them but it doesn’t break them.
There’s tender moments as they slowly explore the chemistry and love between them.
Finally, there’s hope and a hard earned HEA.
This is not a stand-alone and I highly recommend this, and the first book in the series.
