The First Time at Firelight Falls: A Hellcat Canyon Novel
by Julie Anne Long
Talk about hot for teacher! Okay, well hot for the ex-Navy SEAL principal!
Gabe Caldera is wildly attracted to single mom Eden Harwood. She's beautiful, smart, and wicked capable with running her flower shop and keeping her clever 10-year-old daughter on schedule (with some help from a massive white board).
Unfortunately for Gabe, Eden's life is so scheduled out that she thinks she doesn't have time for love, let alone flirt, with the sexy principal, but Gabe is out to convince Eden that even if they only have minutes, those minutes can be enough.
These stolen minutes and time are brought to a grinding halt when the man who fathered Eden's daughter in a secret one night stand comes back into their lives.
Super sexy, super realistic contemporary romance that makes you appreciate the little things in life, the stolen moments. Both characters work hard for what they want, including each other. I especially adored the way Gabe took on making Eden and her daughter happy, even after an initial bad reaction to the reappearance of Eden's lover. The father of Eden's daughter isn't made out to be a villain, which is refreshing.
Highly recommend.
