a different version of “robots take over the world” in a middle grade voice.

i liked the ending and how emma and the robots worked together but overall i felt like the story was a little too long for what it had to say.

also it’s actually pretty dark since the robots are very much in favor of their mass extinction of the human kind and the very real fear that emma should have of being killed for being human.

and sure there’s a message there but still. it’s not a light and fluffy children’s book.
