Yep, frik, I am invested. Heads up for people who are like me and maybe don't know anything about books going in: this one is not an HEA, it has a bit of a cliffhanger because it is kind of a prequel to where the original story was going to start. And then the bonus epilogue blends it with another series where I don't know any of the characters so now I feel like I need to read that first. but the writing and story and characters are so so good. I knew they would be after reading the xmas story that is linked to this one.
