Beautiful Bombshell
by Christina Lauren
*Originally reviewed on Pages Of Forbidden Love
I wasn’t as happy as I thought I would be with the last novella, Beautiful Bitch. I was hoping for more out of it and although I still enjoyed it I can easily say it wasn’t my favorite. I find it hard to love shorter stories. I typically look for more than what can really summed up in such a small amount of pages (which is all my fault) so although I was eager to read Beautiful Bombshell I wasn’t expecting much besides a quick read to tide me over until the Beautiful Player release. Now I can happily tell you that I didn’t get disappointed this time. Christina and Lauren continue to bring on the sexy with Beautiful Bombshell and in just 160 pages they continued to remind me of why I like these characters so much. You get even more of Chloe and Bennett, the couple who started it all, and Max and Sara. Christina Lauren kept the steam (plenty of it) which I enjoyed of course ;) but I also really enjoyed getting to witness the dynamic between Bennett, Max, and Will. Reading about Bennett and Max trying to get to their ladies without the rest of the group knowing was priceless. Those girls have their men hooked. I can’t wait to read more about Will in Beautiful Player and hope to see more hilarious interactions between those three characters.
