We first meet Garrett in Praise. He’s the friend that’s always got a joke and a smile, so I was super excited to get to his story! Maybe because we see a deeper side of Garrett, I feel like he lost his spark of life in beginning and became more sour and pessimistic. I tried to get back to the Garrett I came to love from his brief scenes and eventually I was able to understand his internal turmoil more and why his personality had shifted and I began to love him even more.

The chemistry between Mia and Garrett gives the word “edging” a new definition. It was torture reading these two dance around each other but I loved every minute.

I enjoyed this book. I like Sara’s writing style and the way she develops her characters.
