I've only read the first book in the series and I don't think it hampered my enjoyment. There is an ongoing storyline throughout, but its very simple the twists and turns are super obvious so u can catch up easily enough.
All in all a fast paced, simple read that was exactly what I needed to get out of my book slump.
I appreciate just how possessive and territorial the alpha male was.
