What Light by Jay Asher
2.0

I’m not sure if Jay Asher will ever be able to hit it out of the park again like he did with 13 Reasons Why. What Light is a teenage love story, about a girl who spends a month every year with her parents in California running a Christmas tree stand. She does not have time to fall in love. It would be impractical but love finds a way. The best way to describe this is Debbie Macomber for the teen set. It's too nice, too neat, and way too predictable. I wish it had more meat, instead of syrupy pancakes of a story.
