America's Femme Fatale: The Story of Serial Killer Belle Gunness
by Jane Simon Ammeson
dark
informative
slow-paced
There was alot to this story, the life of Brynhild- or Belle. A true terror, her true number of victims unknown, and I want to know why she isn't talked about more. She basically made her money via murder, and didnt really try to hide much. I was amazed reading, but several times I ended up confused. So many victims stories being told, and facts to help connect all the dots, left me rereading several sections trying to make it all make sense.
I especially enjoyed the endings section where it talks about the different potential theories, and how the author gave her thoughts on what she believed happened.
*Some pictures in the book are pretty gruesome.
