I am devastated. Those last few chapters I was on the edge of my seat hoping and praying everyone gets out in one piece.
This is so well written! There's no sugar coating, no trying to ease you into it, it's just straight up horrifying, and honest. I loved the setting, and the fantastical elements.
Silas is so kind and he only wants to be his true self and have the freedom to do what he wants to do. Identity and trauma was woven seamlessly into the horror setting.
The side characters were fleshed out, they were complex and had their own stories. Silas and Daphne have my heart!
I highly recommend this book!!!
