What Girls Are Made Of
by Elana K. Arnold
This is a tough one to rate because there are many parts of this book I LOVED, but there were also significant times while reading that I found the timeline confusing. Overall, I do think this is an extremely important book that highlights the parts of girls that are so often ignored (or even denied existence) in media. The parts that aren't pretty or nice or sweet, or anything else girls are told they should be. Highly recommend if you're looking for something gritty and deep.
