This is a very sweet, cozy love story told through letters to and from Gavin Hartford, Charles Kentworthy and Gavin's sister, younger and older brothers and his mom. Gavin has never really thought much about romantic or sexual attraction and it takes a long time for him to realize that his new friend in London, Charles, is interested in him. The setting is a fantasy version of "Regency England" where people are openly queer and also can cast magic spells but balls and chaperones and social propriety still figure heavily into the story. I love love epistolary elements so of course I ate this up! This is very low heat and includes ace/aro spectrum MC, a bi/pan MC and multiple side characters across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.
