Along the way we meet Evan the fisherman of the rich and famous, Sammy the gifted and precocious niece, and Chef Z who just has to be read to be described.

Although this book was as quick and enjoyable read, it didn't quite match the depth and heart-warming vibe of Dave's previous book, 800 Grapes. So read Hello, Sunshine while you are in the beach this summer and then curl up and treat yourself to 800 Grapes as you plan your trip to wine country.
