The Dreamer by L.D. Pierce
2.0
dark slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

Our Bland Blonde chosen one and her sidekicks Less Attractive Girl, Love Interest, Spare Love Interest and Wise Elder Servant work together (since they haven’t really got independent personalities) to fight The Evil via such overreactions as flooding a valley, burning down her parents house and trying to kill a baby. These activities reach book length because all the characters are quite slow.
