Okay... what was this? Their *love story* was just love triangles (four of them!!!) and a bunch of cheating, and a bunch of miscommunication and not wanting something while the other one did, and wrong timing. Like, we get it, you have to tell this story and these two needed drama to keep them apart, but good gracious, did it need to be *this* way? I don't even think it was that well written either. I might be able to excuse some of this of the writing was better but it just wasn't. I was basically reading a bad fanfic. I'm giving two stars because I did like the fact that the author really developed the main character's backstory and dealt with heavy themes in a way that felt like justice, and the main character was biracial (we love representation) but other than that, this was waste of my time.
