Murder by the Book: A Sensational Chapter in Victorian Crime
by Claire Harman
informative
slow-paced
Possibly my least favourite book ever. So boring, repetitive, there's probably enough material here for a semi-interesting lithub article but a book?? I also couldn't stand the narrator's accents and impressions, they were so over the top and grating. It would have been a hard DNF for me had I not needed a true crime book for a challenge, and as it is I listened on 2 x speed and totally skipped the last hour. Enough!
