The Vanishing Stair
by Maureen Johnson
This book falls in the second book syndrome and felt like a filler book. A lot really doesn’t go on. Not much shock value and just fell flat to me. I did love Stevie’s character with her mental illness. It made her feel real and very relatable to. The humor was on point and was great comedic relief. David was just a hot mess. I’m hoping book 3 is better and has those oh my gosh twists in it.
