Phoebe was a tough character to like in the beginning. She comes across as spoiled and entitled. I was seriously questioning if I would ever like her and if her character was redeemable. I’m still kind of on the fence about her, though by the end of the book I did like her character more than when I started. Teague was an enjoyable character from the start. Though, he is somewhat of a grump. BUT I love that he lived in a treehouse, because that’s just kind of awesome. He also has his own secrets.

There is chemistry between Phoebe and Teague from the moment they meet, even if they aren’t really that fond of each other in the beginning. There are plenty of hilarious interactions between them and even some spice.

I loved the small town, the quirkiness of the town and the people in it, plus all the laughs that came along with reading this book.
