Isolde and her husband Warren (the Watson to her Sherlock) are reluctantly working a case for the Crown... all the twisty, turny misdirections that one would expect, happen, yet in a sophisticated and entertaining way. The world building is light but at each turn we learn a bit more about it when a new, potential side adventure is set up or a clue to the current case is pieced together.
Honestly, the less you know, the better. It's a good time. I'll definitely purchase a physical copy and I'm looking forward to the rest of series.
