sapphicpenguin 's review for:
Klara and the Sun
by Kazuo Ishiguro
Stunning. It felt unfamiliar and nostalgic all at once. A solar-powered automaton, created to befriend a child, who prays to the sun and tries to learn about the world and the human heart.
I will say I was a little bit disappointed that it just... ended? It didn't feel like it went anywhere or had any conclusion/point to make.
