Christmas Cupcake Murder
by Joanne Fluke
Disappointing
This installment in the Hannah Swenson series was disappointing on several levels. First being, with murder in the title, there should be a murder. Or it could be called something else. Second, I missed the memo completely that this was a flashback so I spent much of this book trying to establish the timeline. So many things in this book had already happened in the series and I thought I was losing my mind! The story was more focused on the food -which yay food- but it’s a cozy mystery. The mystery was on the back burner for most of this book and then wrapped itself up in the final few chapters out of nowhere.
After this one, will I continue this series? Of course I will because I obviously crave torture.
