Probably the most important book I've read in a long time, if even half of it is true (and I've no reason to doubt otherwise). Depressing mostly; seeing how people treat one another, how easy we have it in this country, and seeing how horribly so many people live elsewhere. I don't see how this book could change anything necessarily, but I still think it's important to inform people about these kinds of issues, and Boo's writing is beautiful enough to make an engaging narrative of the truth that might actually capture some peoples' sympathies.
