The Perks of Being a Wallflower
by Stephen Chbosky
I had high hopes for this book, seeing how hyped it is all the time, especially in the music scene. I can see how the repeated line about how music makes the main character feel infinite would have grabbed hold of that particular demographic. Aside from that, the book seemed a little thin and vague. The ending seemed to be purposefully chosen for shock value, and I felt that many of the characters seemed a little flat.
