Two Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese
5.0

I love this twist on Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. There's something about this premise that I just love: Bea and Jamie really don't like each other, but they get set up by their friends who think they would be perfect for each other, they find out and decide to get revenge on their friends by fake dating then having a nasty break up but instead they fall in love. Of course they do! This really hit all the right notes though. I love anything Chloe Liese (the Bergman Brothers series is unmatched) and I was so excited for this new series she is starting. I also love that the author always has characters with representation; in this case, we have Bea who has autism, Jamie who has anxiety and more than character who is a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Chloe Liese always does her characters justice and I love how she portrays them - it always feels so real, without diminishing them or dimming their light and showing her audience that these characters too can have their happily ever after, which gives hope to the rest of us. This book is equal parts swoony, sweet and steamy. I love how Bea and Jamie really brought the best out in each other, despite them thinking they could only see the worst parts. It was so heartwarming and beautiful and I just adored everything about this book. Chloe Liese is an "instant buy" type of author for me and I'm so thrilled for us to get Jules and Kate's books.
