Dare You to Love Me
by Serena Akeroyd
This book is a little confusing. First off, it’s not a RH book as marketed. It’s not even a ménage, it’s just a plain MF. It also starts like it’s the second book in a series, not the first. Things aren’t explained, they’re assumed. The ménage isn’t even formed, and when the issue is raised, it has the option to develop more, but it returns to MF. There’s also no development of feelings from Max, really from anyone. He shows interest but from what I can see, it isn’t reciprocated.
I also kind of hate these kind of serial style books. I feel not much happens and the pacing is off because they’re meant to be read in a binge, rather than one at a time.
I’m torn if I will continue with this series. I might pick it up once it’s completed, but it’s not a series I am champing at the bit for.
