I'm all for redemption arcs. I love me some misunderstood villains. But when these arcs aren't done right is where the problem really happens.

This book is really progressive and diverse. I love basically all the characters except the one I was supposed to pity. She's too arrogant, ignorant and bigoted for me to take her seriously and even after the ending the author couldn't really bring me to stop hating her. She got basically everything she wanted and her actions were cruel so there really was no reason for any of the character to open up to her.

Overall, disappointing.
