this series is a funny one — in my mind, i LOVE IT, but looking back at these reviews, they’re all over the place?! i think my overall take is these have such good bones, but they don’t always hit the target in execution (especially as the series has stretched on…)

i think about the OG book in this series a LOT so that probably should have gotten more stars from me, and this one (with even less of that original cast of characters i grew to be so fond of) has even less of the magic stevie sparkle.
