I would say the first half of the book was hard to get into. Between the writing and the audiobook narrator, I struggled to keep listening to it but I was at work and just kept plugging away. By the time I reached the 60% mark though, the storyline had picked up enough that I *had* to finish it. But I mean

“flaming hot. Scorching hot. Gets-you-into-trouble-and-you-like-it level of hot,” followed a few dozen pages later with "you are not attracted to toxic men!.... But I am" ..... really?
