Lacybourne Manor is the second book in the Ghosts and Reincarnation series. I really had a fun time with the first book so I was highly intrigued by this one. I will say though that this may be one of my least favorite KA novels. I really love her writing style and we did get some of that in there. But it was also like KA was on a bender on hating against anyone that has money and works hard for that success. It just felt super preachy all the way through and became so distracting. Also the hero was an ass lol I have never struggled so hard with one of her heroes before, and I just felt like the way he treated the heroine was not my cup of tea. I am not sure if it was just the way that it was written, but it almost reminded me of old school romance style of a jerk hero to be honest. I really enjoyed most of the story and the whole reincarnation aspect was super neat, there were just other aspects to this book that ruined my overall enjoyment.
