A women’s hockey team is in town and I absolutely love them.

Sylvie grew up around hockey and she is now a goalie for the Brooklyn Bombshells, something she never thought would be possible. Her childhood best friend and crush, Bryce, happens to play for the Brooklyn Bruisers. She thought this would give them the opportunity to be together…that is until she met his teammate Anton.

Sylvie and Anton have instant chemistry and I quickly fell in love with the two of them. They both share a love of hockey. They are both focused on the sport, especially Anton. They don’t want anything serious and decide to keep things secret. Anton is super swoony and you can’t help but love him. Sylvie is also a fantastic character, however, I wasn’t a huge fan of her lusting after Bryce in the beginning of the story.

This is a low drama, fairly light read. If you’ve never read a Brooklyn Bruisers book this provides a great introduction to some of those characters, but you won’t be lost if you’re just starting out. I hope there are more of the Bombshells in the future because I am all for this women’s hockey team.
