In the Miso Soup
by Ryū Murakami
I really don't know how to feel about this book. There could have been a lot of suspense and more of a shock factor if we hadn't known from the start that Frank was a serial killer.
I loved the unusual relationship between Kenji and Frank, almost innocent in a way that chills you to the bone.
The whole story is just weird. I don't know if it's a good or bad kind of weird but there's no escaping that fact. If you don't like gory, graphic books, avoid this at all costs.
