The Hike is like someone describing an absolutely batshit dream they had, in great detail, and that is (for the most part) a positive thing. At times the lack of rules and cohesion in this universe is frustrating. When truly anything can happen, nothing is that surprising. But all in all I liked the story, it was an original idea and I will be thinking about it for a while.
