My favorite thing about the Ghostbusters comics is how utterly unpretentious they are. They're so much fun- full of jokes and references and fourth-wall breaks that just make the experience so light and exploratory. I hate that a lot of media, such as Marvel movies, rely upon easter eggs and plot twists to maintain interest and excitement, but I must admit that I'm a sucker for it when it comes to Ghostbusters, just because it never takes itself too seriously. I mean, this baby has two Caddyshack jokes in it, and that's not even touching on all the great visual gags.
