I’ve read enough of the authors books by now to know they are emotional and they will always pack a punch but wow this one was intense! This is part of a series and you should read the previous books first and it’s also connected to The Next Life series. Don’t let this scare you off, both series are amazing and you should read them all! Claire and Jonah are dangerous together at the start, yet their chemistry and bond is undeniable and seeing them fight their demons to end up together was so satisfying. Jason Clarke is always amazing and Mollie Stark was new to me and I’m obsessed, she was so good at the emotional and vulnerable scenes.
