There is a room with a red door that is “off-limits” to Anna as enforced by Presley’s mother. But Anna cannot contain her curiosity any longer and decides to break into the room. Only to find a hidden diary that belonged to Presley. How can Anna look at Cary the same after reading it? Did he have something to do with Presley’s disappearance?

I got the feeling that this was going to be a remake of Gone Girl and was pleasantly surprised with the epic twist at the end. I literally said “What?’ and had to rewind the audiobook to make sure I heard it correctly. I will now be devouring all of Choudhary’s books. I also enjoyed the “Watcher” aspect of the book and loved the different viewpoints that added to a grand finale.
